wow. i DID not know this - fred macmurray would only work THIRTEEN weeks a year. so 'my three sons' had to film a complete season (39 episodes back then!!) in that time period. and then spend the rest of the available time editing the eps together. no reshoots. no added shots. damn.

it's amazing the things you learn when you're sprawled in a big office chair after you've just let someone cut you open and mess with your bits. just amazing.

sigh.
