ladies and gentlemen, i give you ........... stream of consciousness.

an old friend, drew, wrote me today (after having been traumautized by my rants.... there's a lotta hate in here, boys and girls.... nothin' worse than an ole' psychotic like me with a keyboard and broadband... if my daughter ever discovers this site, i am SO screwed... i'll be paying for her therapy for years.) but i digress... as usual...he was curious why the seething hatred for dubya? hehehehe.... seething hatred is JUST the edge of the pie :) what i feel for bush goes WAAAAAAAAY beyond seething hatred. more like vitriolic, acidic loathing combined with a MEGA dose of untainted, unhidden, worn on my sleeve, to the core of my rotten little soul blind rage/angst/shock at the fact that he actually continues to draw breath upon this planet. it's final, incontravertible proof of the very non-existence of god. at least to me. we have YET to be shown even ONE wmd or anything remotely dangerous/powerful as one. COME ON! this was supposed to be his "MAIN REASON" for going to war! for GOD'S sake, they could've at LEAST planted a fake!!! it would at least show a little creativity and initiative! and we would've had NO choice but to accept it! granted, conspiracy wackos like me would've still gone on for years BUT at least to the general populace, it would've been justified.... moreso, at least, than it seems to be now..... i got mo' and mo' HARD right wing friends who are really starting to question this whole thing - timing, strategy, continued occupation (and yes, it IS an occupation) with no end in sight, etc. what - didn't dubya declare the war OVER back in may? and since that time, we've lost a minimum of around 1.2 to 1.3 soldiers A DAY?!?! mmmm... now THAT is a shitty track record for "peacetime". what's that? am i hearing strains of "concerto for a vietnam" in the clouds? hehehehehehehehe..... and am i a liberal? HELL no. i don't REALLY consider myself a democrat either.... i hate that whole repub/demo thing..... as far as i'm concerned, the republicans basically want to take everything away from the middle class and the poor and give it to the rich and the democrats want to take everything away from the rich and the middle class and give it to the poor. in a nutshell. a damned simplistic one, but a nutshell nonetheless. (and since i've always considered myself basically middle class to upper middle class, both those viewpoints just piss me off :) ) and would i have rather had gore? hmmm... now THERE'S a tough question... in the event of a NECCESARY and required attack/war/whatever, no. too much the nancy boy (what a SILLY phrase... i've NEVER met a boy named nancy. gay OR straight. heard about a boy named sue once though.) for serious shit like that. on the other hand, i sure as hell don't want the modern day mental equivalent of a war profiteer in charge either. but see, i also believe that if gore had gotten into office (notice i didn't say WIN. because as we all know, even dubya deep in his hellspawn equivalent of a heart, that gore won.), that september 11th stood a GODDAMNED good chance of NEVER HAPPENING. dubya ignored foreign policy (do i REALLY need to point out WHAT an ungodly weak suit that is for him? even his own party publicly acknowledged it....) for SIX MONTHS. he ignored the middle east from the MOMENT he finally got into office. clinton, no matter WHAT you think of his sexual habits (it was a blowjob. nobody died. nobody got hurt. a lot of people made some money. life goes on.) or his incapacity to differentiate between SEX and SEX (?!?!), if you're familiar with his middle east work, you know clinton rawked the casbah in foreign policy and did wonders in the middle east..... and bush grabbed the ball.... and ......... dropped it. and let it lay there. had no interest whatsoever in picking it back up. and in my mind, till the day i die or it is proven otherwise to me, i will believe that the odds of 9-11 happening would have been GREATLY REDUCED if the bush administration hadn't taken such a "bleh... we're america... we don't NEED to give a shit about the rest of the world" attitude and things today would be a lot different. but hey, that's just me and i think twin peaks was pretty much the last TRULY intelligent, above par piece of programming to exist. and whereas once, yes, i did exist mainly on black coffee and cigarettes (no, really. not a cliche or a joke. okay, it IS a cliche for someone like me... one reason i tried to change the pattern :) ) but unfortunately, old age and anti-psychotics have finally combined to force me into lessening some of my prior excesses..... i usually stop drinking coffee around noon at the latest nowadays.... and don't drink that much before noon... the occasional cup on weekend nights but when i do i pay dearly with record breaking insomnia... my body wishing to return to its old ways and me not letting it... the smokes i still chew like they're goin' out of style.... i quit about a month ago to prove i could then picked right back up :) yes, intentionally. no back sliding involved. decided i flat out enjoyed it and would continue for a while.. .oh, 'm sure i'll quit before too many more months have passed but see, to me, the damage is already done.... almost not worth quitting :) but having a doctor tell you that yer lungs are operating at 43% capacity tends to set yer mind to chewing.... and as much as i'd LOVE to go ahead and meet up with the age 42 deadline i set for myself years ago, there are just TOO many damn sequels i need to stay alive for. WAYYYY too many. so i've got no choice but to stick around. damned movie studios. and what? me, evil? nah.... i'm the ultimate center.... i'm what we used to call in D&D (geek-check.) a true neutral. the WORST mental/spiritual alignment possible. why? because all a truly neutral only cares for two things - themselves and seeing a perfect balance between good and evil. why? because they alone see the truth - that there is NO light without darkness, no love without hate, no good without bad, no pepsi without coke (notice the juxtapositioning of the names, thank you.), no fred without barney and definitely no mrs roper without mr roper. as much as i despise dubya, i realize he has to exist - if only to be a warning to others :) without utter dolts like him, the geniuses among us would never shine through..... phew. man that was a long one..... i need some coffee and a smoke. uh, decaf, thank you.

okay, now THAT is funny. its also a version of zep i'd pay good money to see.... speaking of good money.... which i recently shot out the door.... started having too many problems out of the old pc.. time for a new one.... and instead of building it, i went dell for ease and speed.... and speed is what i got, by god.... pentium 4 2.6 gigahertz cpu with half a gig of pc3200 memory, 300 gig of hard drives, a dvd burner, a cd burner (seperate, thank you.) and a demonic little sound blaster live digital 5.1... oh, forgot the "emuzed" video/multimedia authoring hardware that snakes out with inputs and outputs for s-vid, composite, etc etc. jesus. can't see myself complaining for about another 3 years. did i mention it boots from power on to usable desktop in 29 seconds? jesus. i realllllly love windows xp.
