well, had other plans but ditched 'em and watched 'white noise' with the wife. oh my god. not only was it the most random, non-sensical movie i've seen in many a flick, the ending left me going 'huh??' ... my impression? this movie wanted to be 'the ring' so bad they could taste it. i hate to see michael keaton in this kinda confusing mess. worth the watch? well, it gave me three good heartjumps. so if you can switch the brain off for awhile and not concentrate too hard on the story, you might not consider your time wasted. otherwise, just toss in any episode of 'millennium' and get really creeped out.

dead, dull, laundry kinda saturday night here in "the lex" (WHY is it that louisville gets a cool nickname like 'the ville' and lexington gets....... not many cool abbreviations for lexington.) so yea. it's coffee, cigarettes and harold & kumar for the third time, methinks. and if yer looking for a movie to rent, grab collateral. as much as i love to hate tom cruise, this is one of his best roles. and he's wearin' my doo'. no, really.

me and charlie decided to perform a little experiment and try out skype... interesting internet voice based messaging service type thing... think aim with voice... made specifically for voice.. no text... and optimized as such... sound is clear as a bell... so we shot the shit for awhile..... enjoy.... we're working on doing this on a regular basis... why not inflict ourselves just a little more on the normal world.... hell, everybody else is doing it.... go checkout podcast alley... meanwhile, here it is - enjoy or don't...

ever had one of those days where as soon as your feet hit the ground, you start moving like death is at the door... not that it is, it just feels like you gotta get stuff done NOW... so yea.. up, showered, laundry, out the door and errands run... and back to the house... laundry... and then.... bang... i was being SO utterly efficient and useful... and then bang it just somehow falls apart and i'm on the couch watching eps of dark angel..... not that i mind.... ya know, a burst of energy and efficiency like that could kill a man if it happened too often.

now there's a fun little mind game to play... name the last five movies you saw... people don't realize how most movies are utterly forgettable until they try to remember them..... hmmm.... i robot.... king arthur..... smokey and the bandit.... wrong turn..... resident evil apocalypse. ok.. not bad... only took me about two minutes. i could have added smokey and the bandit II but i fell asleep halfway thru that one... nothing on the movie, mind you. it's a classic. ok, not as much of a classic as smokey 1 but still.... oh and BY the way... am i the ONLY one who finds this REALLLLY creepy??

Mystery Martian ‘car wash’ helps rover

i've joked about the idea for years but think about it - i can JUST see a coupla martians walking along behind the rover, giggling and pointing at it... as they stand just out of camera range. they could blow ALL the dust off and we'd never be the wiser. i'm tellin' ya. just think about it.
