again, i let too much time pass between entries here. day 30. no smokes. haven't killed anyone yet. came off the chantix on day 23. again, still no dead. this is a good thing. not jonesing too horribly much. still want one but i figure i'll feel that way the rest of my life and i'm okay with that. but the REAL trick is staying off the smokes. chantix is considered the most successful smoking cessation program out there. and its success rate? 23%. out of one hundred smokers who quit, twenty three of them will continue to NOT smoke. 77 of them will go back to smoking. wow. those are scary numbers. but so far so good and i refuse to work with the assumption that i'll eventually backslide. i've put this much effort into it so far, i'd like to go ahead and stick it out. well, just dropped in for a quick visit while i was over next door working on the apocalypse radio entry for the week.... now i'm done with both and stating to nod off so it's beddybye time for me. ttfn.
