as god is my witness, i WILL get mass quantities of dvd viewing in this late afternoon/early evening if it kills me and everyone around me. i've got superbad in now. not really in the mood to watch it but hopefully a few laughs will turn me around. after that it's the best of futurama 4 episode dvd then the animated feature doctor strange. then later tonight, the bourne ultimatum. really looking forward to that. the first two films rocked in the most pleasant of ways. blew most of the day out shopping with the wife. did find a killer deal - a hard shell clear case for my zune, regular 30 bucks, clearanced out at compwhore for 8 bucks. seems like a logical move with the release of the new zune line. played with one of the new models today at best buy. the "squircle" is cute and all but i kind of like the tactile button aspect of the original model zune. if i did pick up another deck, it'd be the ipod touch. basically for the video and internet abilities. email is handy too. but that money would be better served being used on a new desktop. mine's getting a little long in the tooth, processor-wise. soon it'll be time for an intel quad-core system. with 3 gig of ram. and WITHOUT vista. been pricing them out.... looks like around 1200. maybe a little less. ok, ten minutes in and i've already had one good laugh. that's a good sign. (75 minutes later....) wow. that was funny. NOT aimed at a female audience, for damn sure. very much a guy movie. but funny as hell. rent it. you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll grab your balls.
