ok, first off - how many of you have seen john carpenter's they live? late 80's flick... some interpret it as a metaphor for the reagan years. some just enjoy the movie for the movie. BUT when you combine the times we live in with the powers in charge and then add in headlines like this: CLICKETH ME! .... well, i'm pulling out my copy of they live and watching it this weekend. seems like the right time.
